Norfolk County Council Local Member Fund

Norfolk County Council's Local Member Fund is a scheme that provides each elected councillor with an annual pot of money to spend on small highways and environmental projects in their division. The scheme started in 2017-18 with annual allocation of £6,000 per councillor for highways projects. In 2021-22, the allocation was increased to £10,000 and the remit of the scheme was widened to also include environmental projects. In 2023-24 the allocation was increased again to £11,000.

Thetford is covered by two Norfolk County Council Divisions: Thetford East and Thetford West. Each Division has a single elected Norfolk County Councillor. Details of how they have spent their Local Member Fund allocations over the past years are given below.
