Thetford Place Brand Project
In Janury 2021, Breckland District Council announced that Wayne Hemingway, one of the UK's leading urban regeneration experts, had been commissioned to lead a project in Thetford. The project will produce a "Place Brand" for Thetford, along with a vision and recommendations for future development.
The Place Brand project was agreed by the Breckland Cabinet in February 2020, with a maximum bugdget of £75k. The tender was advertised that month, but the start date was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The winning bid from Hemingway Design was costed at £48,725.
As part of this project an open survey was launched on 25th January 2021: Let's Talk about Thetford.
