BTO Nunnery Lakes Nature Reserve

The Nunnery Lakes Nature Reserve is a wildlife and bird reserve in Thetford, which is owned by the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). The BTO also has its headquarters in Thetford. Parts of the reserve are open to the public, and can be accessed from Arlington Way, Nun's Bridges and Nunnery Place. there is no admission charge.

The Arlington Way to Nun's Bridges path runs thorugh the reserve, providing a wheelchar and pushchair accessible route. A seperate route follows the river from Nun's Bridges to Nunnery Place, continuing to the Lakes at the south end of the reserve. By the lakes there is a hide and a viewing platform, looking out over restored marshland.
