Redcastle Plantation

Redcastle Plantation is an area of publicly accessible woodland in Thetford, located to the south of the A134 Brandon Road. There are a number of well-used paths through the wood, linking the Redcastle Furze Estate and Santon Close to the Brandon Road.

The wood is owned by Breckland District Council, and contains the remains of earth-work fortifications dating from the 12th Century. The site is a Scheduled Monument [SM:1017673].
